Barbara Jane Gold, age 74, of Newton Highlands, Massachusetts, and recently of Bloomfield, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at Arden Courts of Avon, Connecticut, on Tuesday November 22, 2022. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on January 18, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Milton Eugene Gold and Shirley Mae (Cohn) Gold. She is survived by her brother, Attorney Ronald Seth Gold; and sister-in-law, Attorney Iris June Brown of Bloomfield, Connecticut. Barbara was a graduate of Boston University. She lived and worked in Massachusetts after she graduated and before retiring as a Benefits Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston. Arrangements will be private for the immediate family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd S #4b, Southington, CT 06489, or to The BrightFocus Foundation, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford, CT.

I miss my friend Barbara. We went to junior high, high school and college together. We traveled together. We knew each others families. A big piece of my memories are gone without her.
