Brian Gleason Obituary

GLEASON Mr. Brian C. Gleason, age 54, beloved husband of Jacqueline Bon-tems of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Yale-New Haven Hospital. Son of the late Thomas and Wanda Perlak Gleason, he was born on June 1, 1955 in Lowell, Mass. and was a longtime resident of Milford. Brian served during the Vietnam era in the U.S. Army as a fire fighter. He was a mental health counselor for many years. He loved cooking, gardening, and traveling, and was a huge fan of all the Boston sports teams, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. In addition to his wife, he leaves a beloved daughter, Sarah Gleason of Haverhill, Mass.;, and his "youngest" sister, Linda Wadden and her husband, Gary of Dracut, Mass. He is also survived by three more sisters, Marcia Miceli and Judith Sequin, both of Florida and Nancy Hudek of California; and many nieces and nephews, including Evan Wadden of Dracut Mass. He was predeceased by his loyal dog, Skeeter. Family and friends may call on Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford. Committal will be private. Family wishes that no perfume or cologne be worn during visitation due to allergic reactions to family members. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, ATTN: Contribution Services, 10 Brookline Pl. West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226, www.jimmyfund.org or the American Stroke Association, 1 Union St, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NH 08691-4183. www.codywhitefuneralservice.com

Don't worry about anything,
For don't you know it's true.
A loving God has launched the ship
That gently carries you!
And each man hears a special call
That beckons him alone,
While God provides along the way
The stars that guide him home!
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
You are now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
May the angels guide you along your way
and rejoice in the heavens with Mama, Baci, and Dziadek - Your Sister "Bean"
