Cuni, Carmela
Carmela Cuni, 94, formerly of South Windsor, CT, and Palm Cost, FL, wife of the late Matteo "Michael" Cuni, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was born in Stratford, CT, daughter of the late Carl and Emily (Rovello) Guccione. Carmela worked as a bookkeeper for International Telephone and Telegraph. She was an active member of the Florida Federation of Italian-American Club of Palm Coast, FL, and Santa Maria Del Mar Roman Catholic Church in Flagler Beach, FL. Carmela is survived by her two children, Patricia Micari and her husband Peter, and Michael Cuni; four grandchildren, Julie Cryer, Kathryn Micari, Sera Cuni, and Seth Cuni; four great grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Cryer, and Roman and Audrey Cuni; and daughter-in-law, Mary Cuni. She was predeceased by her son, Frank Cuni. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach, FL, will take place at a later date. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements.
