Carol Chaco-Birch Obituary

CHACO-BIRCH Carol Conklin Birch Chaco, age 58, beloved wife of Joseph M. Chaco of Stratford died suddenly Thursday, October 5 in Bridgeport Hospital. Carol was born May 10, 1948 in Milford, daughter of Eleanor (Staffier) Conklin of Shelton, and the late Carl Conklin. Carol was a life time Stratford resident, and was a driver for the Durham School Bus Company. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by: one son, William Birch of Stratford; one daughter, Carol Birch of Stratford; two brothers, Raymond Conklin of Ansonia, and Carl Conklin of Stratford; four grandchildren, Saayne, Stephen, Iain, and Olivia Birch; two step daughters, Helen and Carollynn Chaco; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday evening October 9, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. in the William R. McDonald, 2591 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may call Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Norma Phreim Cancer Center, C/O Bridgeport Hospital, 267 Grant Street, Bridgeport, CT

To my mother and sister Mary and brother Carl. WE lost another part of our family. The one who thought of putting others first then her self.Carol had a big heart even when she died she saved a stanger.
WE will always think of her and Irene we love and miss them.

My deepest sympathy goes to the entire family. A very sad time for the loved ones and for all of Carol's friends. I had so much fun with her at the bus company and at the diner when we worked together. I will miss her and remember her with good thoughts. I'm sorry I couldn't be there to say good-bye to her.

I am truly sorry for the loss of a beautiful mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She will be missed, I loved her too and I pray that the memories you have of her will bring joy to your heart and bring a smile to your face.I sure have some fond memories of her, and they are all of her laughing. She will always be watching over you, she`s not gone she`s just away. We all will see her again. Carol is in good hands with GOD, he will take care of her now. I will pray for you all.
