Carol Conklin Chaco-Birch

CHACO-BIRCH Carol Conklin Birch Chaco, age 58, beloved wife of Joseph M. Chaco of Stratford died suddenly Thursday, October 5 in Bridgeport Hospital. Carol was born May 10, 1948 in Milford, daughter of Eleanor (Staffier) Conklin of Shelton, and the late Carl Conklin. Carol was a life time Stratford resident, and was a driver for the Durham School Bus Company. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by: one son, William Birch of Stratford; one daughter, Carol Birch of Stratford; two brothers, Raymond Conklin of Ansonia, and Carl Conklin of Stratford; four grandchildren, Saayne, Stephen, Iain, and Olivia Birch; two step daughters, Helen and Carollynn Chaco; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday evening October 9, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. in the William R. McDonald, 2591 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may call Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. service time.
