Charles Gombrewicz
GOMBREWICZ Charles P. Chick Gombrewicz, age 59, of Milford, beloved father of Charles J. Gombrewicz and Bryce Gombrewicz, both of Milford, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 24, 2005. He was born on April 5, 1946, to Amelia Gombrewicz, of Milford, and the late Charles Gombrewicz. Mr. Gombrewicz served with the US Army during the Viet Nam War and was a self-employed mason. Besides his sons and mother, he is survived by his sister, Marlene Hessberger and her husband, Robert, of Milford; and a niece and several nephews, as well as several great-nephews, all of Milford. Calling hours are Wednesday, December 28th, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary4s Church, Gulf Street, Milford, on Thursday, December 29th, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in his name, to: VA Medical Center, Hospice Unit, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516.
