Clement Healy Obituary
HEALY Clement J. Healy, age 80, beloved husband of Anna Lenoci Healy, of West Haven, died Friday, March 14, 2003, in his home. A lifelong Bridgeport resident until moving to West Haven a short time ago, he was the son of the late Michael W. and Elizabeth Coughlin Healy. Mr. Healy served with the 710 Tank Battalion during World War II, and was one of the founders of the battalion reunions, which he enjoyed attending. He was a retired industrial plumber for Angelica Laundry Services. Mr. Healy was also a well known local bartender, operating his own bartending service, and working many years for the 19th Hole Restaurant. He was an active member of the Gaelic-American Club, Fairfield. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael Healy and his wife, Perry, of Milford, and Richard Healy of Arkansas; a daughter, Debora Marusa and her husband, John, of Trumbull; five grandchildren, Christopher Healy, Nicholas Healy, Jeffery Healy, Kaitlyn Marusa and Emily Healy; six brothers, Jack F. Healy of Milford, Michael W. Healy of Huntington, Rev. George F. Healy, Holy Ghost Fathers, of California, Robert W. Healy of Norwalk, Patrick F. Healy of Arizona, Charles W. Healy of Wilton; two sisters, Edna Henchey of Stratford and Sr. Mary Healy, Sisters of Mercy, Hartford; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Elizabeth Cupp and Sally Bearss; Joseph A. Healy and Rev. James K. Healy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. direct at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael‚s Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
