Cynthia Recupido Obituary
Cynthia (Cindi) Oleyar Recupido, age 80, of Stratford, entered into peaceful rest on December 19, 2024. Born in Bridgeport to the late Adam and Mary (Novak) Oleyar and has been a lifelong area resident. She was the beloved wife of 59 years to Salvatore (Ted) Recupido. Cindi attended Saints Cyril and Methodius Elementary and Commercial High School and Stratford High School, Class of 1962. She was a communicant of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Stratford. Cindi loved the UConn Men's and Women's Basketball, New York Yankees and the Pittsburg Steelers, and attended her grandsons' sporting events. Cindi worked at Bryant Electric and retired from Harvey Hubbell. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband include her son, Frank Recupido (Jay) of Manchester and daughter, Gina Cosgrove (Marc), grandchildren, Matthew and Jason of Northford, daughter-in-law, Patricia Baptist of Naugatuck. She was predeceased by her parents, and a son, Ted J. Recupido. The family would like to thank Cindi's aide and friend, Denise Ellis. Friends may greet the family on Sunday, December 22nd, from 2-5 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 23rd, at 10 am (MEETTING DIRECTLY) at Holy name of Jesus Church, Stratford.
