Cynthia Ryall Obituary

Cynthia L. Ryall
Cynthia L. (Kozak) Ryall, age 68, a lifelong resident of Ansonia, entered eternal rest on November 12, 2025, at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the loving wife of forty-seven years to William H. Ryall. Born in Derby on May 14, 1957, she was the daughter of Genevieve "Jane" (D'Alessio) Kozak of Ansonia and the late George Kozak. Cindy graduated from Assumption Grammar School in Ansonia and Ansonia High School, class of 1975. A beloved mother and devoted wife, Cindy cherished her time at home, taking care of her family before embarking on a fulfilling career. Cindy began her career with Valley Ambulance in Shelton, then earned her Life and Health Insurance license and joined Healthnet. Throughout her tenure at Healthnet, Cindy excelled in her roles, ultimately promoted to the Northeast Director of Sales and Marketing. Her commitment and passion for her work were evident and, in 2010, she was nationally honored as Healthnet's Executive of the Year. After leaving Healthnet, she co founded Medicare Assurance, a company she co-led until her retirement in 2023. Cindy was an active volunteer at Make-A-Wish Foundation in Trumbull and lovingly supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In her free time, she loved the beach and traveling. She looked forward to Caribbean vacations, and trips to Hilton Head, SC, with her family. She shared wonderful memories visiting Narragansett annually with her "Ya Yas." She also enjoyed relaxing by the pool, beneath a palm tree her husband planted especially for her. A devoted wife and mother, Cindy cherished her family above all else. Her greatest joy was spending time with her precious grandchildren. She will lovingly be missed by all. In addition to her husband, Bill, and mother, Jane, Cindy leaves to cherish her memory, sons, William H. Ryall III (Alicyn) and Christopher G. Ryall (Amanda), all of Shelton, sister, Mary Jane Boladz (Henry) of Ansonia, grandchildren, Parker William Ryall, Hannah Ryall, and Genevieve Ryall, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Tuesday morning, all are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial by meeting directly at the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia at 10:30 am. Entombment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter Garden Mausoleum in Derby. Contributions in Cindy's memory may be made directly to Assumption School, 51 North Cliff Street, Ansonia, CT 06401. I didn´t know Cindy until it was time to choose my Medicare insurance.I called Medicare Assurance. I made an appointment with Cindy to come to my house to meet with me and my friend with who I shared a birthday. We met for the next 5 years. What a wonderful help she was.... We loved getting together with Cindy. My friend died 6 years ago and I met with Cindy only an only a couple of times and then I heard she was in the hospital this year. To all of her family and friends I want to send my deepest sympathy for your loss. May she rest in peace.

Billy.Mrs Kozak.Maryjane,Billy and Christopher and other members of Cindy family

I was shocked to hear of the passing of my former student and Coach. I moved to Connecticut and became a teacher at Ansonia High School from Durham,NC. Cindy was full of life and I got to know of her family. Every time I came to Connecticut I would go to see Cindy. The last time I was there was for her cousin wedding with my mom. I was so glad to take a picture with Cindy. I will cherish that picture because it was the last time seeing her. I remember when Cindy was dating Billy. They were married for forty- seven years.I was so glad our lives crossed when I came to Connecticut. She is no longer suffering and in the hospital. Cindy I will miss you, but you will remain in my heart forever. You are now the third basketball player from Ansonia to die. Carol Sovinski. and Dottie sShortell, May all of you rest in peace . You will never be forgotten. May each member of your family remember the good time you spent with Cindy

I know she will be missed by all who knew her. My condolences to you and your family. I know it’s been decades since we’ve actually been able to talk in person, but it was good to have a phone conversation with you a few years ago. My heart is broken, and my prayers go out to Cindy's precious family and friends. She was the most amazing woman - kind, compassionate, funny and loyal. I had the privilege of working for Cindy at HealthNet and calling her my friend. I have so many wonderful memories of her. She loved her family fiercely and her grandchildren totally completed her circle. There will never be another Cindy. She just made the world a better place by being in it. I was truly blessed to know her. Prayers for her family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the Ryall family during this difficult time. Cindy, who led the Medicare sales team during my time at Health Net, was a tremendous leader, petite in stature but immense in spirit. She radiated motivation, positivity, kindness, and genuine care in everything she did. I will always remember the compassion she showed me when my mother was battling cancer, offering me flexibility with my work schedule and reminding me that a mother’s love is forever and family always comes first. Her empathy and understanding meant more than she ever knew. Cindy was a truly remarkable person with a loving soul. May she rest in peace.

Cindy was my childhood friend, I was always at her house. She was full of energy and I have good memories of her. She loved her job and in 2023 she came to our home to help guide me with Medicare before my retirement. She loved her family as her eyes lit up when she talked of her grand children. Our son Robert and her son Christopher are good friends. She loved her husband, 47 years is obvious of their love. We grieve at her loss as the angels rejoice in heaven to receive another angel.

Cindy lived for her family and always made time for her loved ones. She once braved a snowstorm when nearly half the state was shut down and was the first to hold me in the hospital as a baby. I think that sums up the kind of person she was. Selfless and loving and always willing to go the extra mile. Love you Cindy.
