I am so sadden to hear of Danny's passing on. My deepest sympothies go out to his family and friends. I have been going by the tatoo shop for the last couple of weeks now trying to find Danny so that he could hook me up with another hot tat. I found out today that he was no longer with us. I'm happy that I do have his great work on my body to remember him by. He will be sorely missed. R.I.P Danny (The best tatoo artist ever!)

Danny will be missed greatly. He was kind enough to tutor me on his ideas of "biker jewelry" when I was apprenticing as a jeweler and he graced my skin with the scariest tattoos on the face of the planet. He had a great sense of humor and loved to travel to Florida. Marisa, do you remember all the fun we had together when you and your dad visited me in Key West? It was a really long time ago. I wish Danny's family all the comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain. My love to you all...Lori
P.S.: In the immortal words of Danny Williams, "It's just a tattoo!"

Danny will truely be missed. He touched everyone's heart that ever met him. I first met Danny back in the early 70's in Lawrence, Kansas. There I watched many a day and night of tattoo party's watching Danny do his wonders. He always wanted to give me a tastt for my birthday of a flamingo in flight. I passed on the idea for years until this past October. There I met his "Guardian Angel" Suzie. It was wonderful seeing him so happy and full of life. We had lost touch after his move from the "Old Blue Bird Motel" in Missouri until I called him out of the blue and we reconnected. I am thankful and honored to have known Danny and will always keep him close to my heart (my hip too). He will be missed. My sympathies to all. -Helene Rosen, Las Vegas, NV

My deepest sympathies to the surviving family. I cannot begin to express what Danny has meant to me. Over the years he seemed a constant in my life. I recall hearing of Danny as kid,and later becoming good friends .Good times at the summer cottage, tattoo conventions, birthdays.Remember the green room anybody? Danny had always
been the classiest and most courteous host ,at least to me.
Sadly, I haven't spoken to him in a couple months. But that's alright, we had an understanding.
Friends.
I smile for you Danny, cause I know you're smilling back.

My sympathy goes out to Danny's entire family. I was very sad to hear that he had passed. Danny did one of my tattoos free hand and it is one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I kept meanign to get back to him to have it finished because he wanted to add more detail and I didn't have the time that day. Thank you Danny and may you rest in peace, you were obviously loved by many.

To the Williams Family,
My thoughts and symapthy go out to every one, Danny was a liked and loved man. I meet Danny when my one of my son's died from crib death and Danny allow my older sons to give a him idea for my frist tattoo in honor of there brother. Danny was kind to me during a sad day and I would like to leave you with a blessing, he left a beautiful wings on my arm, that people always ask who did the work and I say only DANNY WILLIAMS OF COURSE;
MY THOUGHTS; Let neither cold, hunger, nor pain, nor the fear of them, neither the bristling teeth of danger nor the very jaws
of death itself, prevented DANNY FROM doing a good deed......

I met Danny when we were both in the 8th grade. Many years later when I learned that he was ill I got in touch with him and I'm glad that I did. We started our friendship up again, talking on the phone and having a lunch here and there. I hope that I was able to give him the support and lend an ear to him when he needed it. I was so happy that he found Sue. He always spoke so highly of her and how much he appreciated all that she did for him. I will miss my friend. Danny I'm sorry I never let you do that tattoo you wanted to do for me. Wish I had it now. You were always so kind and gentle with me.

I knew Danny as most people did, through his work as a tattoo artist. He did my first tattoo, back when he had the small shop next door to where his shop is today along with Zee. He was in an especially good mood that day and when I couldn't decide what kind of tattoo I wanted, he said "Let me do what I want, I promise you'll be happy. I know what girls like, lots of colors." He wasn't wrong, the tatt was a beautiful, colorful butterfly...the first of many. He also did my daughter's first tattoo. When we went in, he was getting ready to pack it in for the day, but told us to come back early the next day (Sunday) and he'd let us in before the shop was open so we'd be his first customers. In my book, he was o.k.

Danny touched so many lives in a good way. We were neighbors from the time I was born. Met 18 years later in the club and he remembered me like it was yesterday. Gentleman Johnny's memories of Nomad's impeccable taste of choppers, that ring and zuppa de pesce at Rosies Restaurant, opened Johnny's world to live up to 100% of his potential. No matter the distance, time or place when we saw each other we were family. We will meet again. May God bless his loved ones and give them strength. R.I.P. Ride Free

I was lucky to have hit it off with Danny while we worked together over several years on a few pieces. We shared food, laughs, tall tales and kind visits. You never knew what personality you would walking in on. We shared a trip to the NYC tattoo convention with his Buddies from Austria, what a trip that was! I will remember Danny's softer side. He was full of knowledge and a no BS kinda guy. I know he was crazy about Marisa and her protector. He would share stories about his family and rave about dinners at his Sisters home. Losters, Lemon meringue pie and a quiet, well behaved, 1/2 educated client made him happy. I know you struggled with your health. I hope you last days were peaceful.

Marisa, Family and Friends,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family and friends. Danny will be sadly missed by all that knew him. He was highly spoken of and well known for his talents whether by his skills of dog training or drawing/tattooing. I first got to know him through my mother (the Stratford Dog Warden) for his talents of dog training. Then later got a tattoo--which I display every chance I get and proudly let everyone know Danny did it. He also was the first to do my daughters tattoo. He is/was a very gifted person and he will be truly missed.
With Deepest Sympathy,
The Chirsky/Schreckengost and Stolz Families
