David Super Obituary
David W. Super, age 66, of Stratford entered into rest on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Elinore (Plunkett) Super. David was born in Bridgeport on April 11, 1949, son of the late William and Mary (Garlinski) Super, and lived in Stratford for 28 years. He was a Graduate of Bunnell High School Class of 1967.
He worked in finance at Rexal USA in Shelton, and previously was a longtime dedicated employee of General Electric. A dependable employee, David never once missed a day's work. At home, he loved working in his yard, riding his motorcycle, and enjoying the beach. He leaves a loving family and many friends.
David is the beloved stepfather of Michael Donovan and leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine C. Super.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Saturday from 12 Noon to 3 PM, followed immediately by a funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the A.L.S. Association, CT Chapter, 4 Oxford Rd., Unit D4, Milford, CT 06460. Offer condolences online at www.riverviewfh.com.

Ellinore, I am so sorry to learn of David's passing. I just got home from a trip and so didn't get the message on time to be there but I would have been had I known. My thoughts are with you in this sad time.

Dave and I worked together over the phone and via email from Shelton and Atlanta at GE/Gexpro for many years. I'm not surprised to hear he never missed a day of work because he was always willing to go the extra mile to help. He could always be counted on to go above and beyond to help a co-worker, and to take the time to teach processes to help further. I always liked that he is old school like me sometimes...let's pick up the phone instead of sending so many emails. Dave will be missed by many. Sending thoughts and prayer to Dave's entire family during this difficult time.
