Debra D. Brown

BROWN Debra D. Brown, age 52, of New Haven, formerly of Bridgeport, died Friday, May 20, 2005, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, Debra lived here until a month ago when she moved to New Haven. She attended the Bridgeport public school system and was last employed as a church musician with several churches in the area. Debra was also a licensed Evangelist and used her gifts all over this country. A sister, Gail Brown predeceased her. Survivors include a daughter, Skylette Greene, and her father, William Brown, of New Haven; three brothers, Raymond Brown, of New Haven, William F. "Billy" Brown, of Bridgeport, and Michael Brown, of Salisbury; a sister, Evette Brown, of New Haven; five grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Prayer Tabernacle Church of Love, Inc., 1243 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, with Bishop Kenneth H. Moales Sr., Pastor, officating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to the viewing Thursday, May 26, 2005, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church. Morton s Mortuary, Inc., 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport, is in charge of arrangements.
