We remember when Diane and Jim moved to 300 Stonehouse Road. We spotted them as they were walking down Tashua Lane and were so happy a young family would be living down the street from us. We quickly became friends and had many wonderful times with them and their children. Jamie, Allison and John.
One summer we got together in Wellfleet , Cape Cod. We had so much fun at the beach and enjoyed a
delicious meatball and spaghetti dinner that Diane prepared. Diane, as well as Jim, were true friends, kind, helpful and dependable. Glad they were apart of our lives.

I have many wonderful memories of my cousin Diane. Although our family´s lived an hour apart, we always made time to see each other on holidays and family vacations to Lake Hopatcong NJ or Lake George New York. Especially memorable were the family Christmas Day diners at the Larson´s in Brooklyn New York. A memorable event during college was an unexpected literal chance meeting in 1964 at the World´s Fair, after attending a New York Mets game, when I ran into Diane and a friend......what are the chances? Over the years as a Military Dentist and, although separated by states or Continents, our families stayed in touch and shared the joys of raising our children. Memories of barbeques at the Dunn s with Diane and Jim and their children James Alison and John along with visits to Mystic Conn when stationed at Newport and Groton always bring a sense of joy. Whether just visiting, sharing a card, attending Dunn weddings, or just talking on the phone, Diane always was a delight and brought back wonderful memories of our families and lives. Rest in peace dear cousin.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Diane's passing. I knew her,her late husband Jim, and her family from the GAC in Fairfield. My sincere condolences to her family, and her many friends--she will indeed be dearly missed.
