Dimitrios Vidalis Obituary
Dimitrios "James" Vidalis, age 85, of Bridgeport, loving husband of 55 years to Olga Tapinou Vidalis, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 19, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Born in Andros, Greece, he was the son of the late. George and Anna Karlou Vidalis. Dimitrios was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Bridgeport. He will be remembered by all as a kind, generous, friendly and Proud Greek.
He is survived by his loving wife Olga, and his loving daughter Anna & her husband Alan Guzzi, two grandchildren Matthew and Niko.
a sister-in-law Kostantina Vidalis of Bridgeport, a sister and brother in law Georgia and Vasili Tapinou Tountasakis of Fairfield, many cousins, nieces and nephews, both in Greece and the USA. He was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Sophia and James Saravanos of Florida, his sister and brother in law Eifigenia and Nikos Haikali of Athens Greece, his sister Katerina Vidalis of Athens Greece and his brother Gikas Vidalis of Bridgeport.
The "Rite of Burial" will take place on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Avenue, Bridgeport officiated by Father Georgios Livaditis, Presbyter, followed by interment at Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Calling hours will take place Thursday morning from 10am until time of service in the church. Please wear masks while attending all services.
