Domenico Petitti Obituary

PETITTI Domenico Petitti, age 74, of Milford, died on Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on August 24, 1930, in Faeto, Province of Foggia, Italy, he was a son of the late Antonio and Concetta DeGirolamo Petitti. Mr. Petitti was a former resident of Stratford for many years before moving to Milford. He was a member of the Laborers Union 665 of Bridgeport. He was an avid gardener, loved cooking and made frequent visits to his hometown in Italy where he enjoyed the company of family and friends. Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Giovina Spinelli Petitti of Milford; two sons, Mario Petitti and his wife, Dawn, of North Haven, and Ralph Petitti of Bridgeport; two daughters, Antonietta Williams and her husband, Gregory, of Shelton, and Concetta Petitti of Stratford; five brothers, Nicolo, Mario, Antonio, Giovanni and Fedele Petitti, all of Italy; four sisters, Leonarda, Lilila, Lucia and Pasqualina Petitti, all of Italy; five grandchildren, Matthew and Adam Williams, Candance, Jerrod and Amy Petitti; and a great-grandson, Antonio Petitti; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday, February 12, 2004 from 4 to 8 p.m.
