To the family of Dr. Butler:
The physicians and staff of Fairfield County Medical Association were saddened to learn of the death of your father, Donald Butler, MD. Our deepest sympathy is extended to you. Dr. Butler was a member of the association for more than 34 years.
Dr. Butler's dedication to the practice of medicine left its impact on our community. His distinguished career in diagnostic radiology in Fairfield County is remarkable. His many activities outside of medicine are a reminder of his vibrant, talented, and personable disposition.
May the love of family and friends coupled with fond memories be a constant source of strength and encouragement.
Sincerely,
Mark Thompson

Michelle and Gordon-
My deepest sympathy on your father's passing after his long battle with Parkinson's. Talking and counselling with him for many years was one of the honors and pleasures of my career. Both he and your mother had an extra ordinary positive outlook on life and values. Surely that helped much as they faced more than share of tribulations in the final years of their all too short lives.

Dear Michelle and Gordon:
We really loved Don, but
who didn't?
I worked with him closely
as I was part of the interventional group, and
learned from him, as he
came to the group as the
first fellowship trained partner. We shared the calls, but we also shared the concern for the residents as he was an excellent teacher and friend to all of them. Don was in my
"Education Committee" helping me to go through applications and interviewing applicants in the selection process.
He was also a friend, and
for many years went to the opera with Peter Shimkin and I, even after his early retirement.
So, there are indeed many
beautiful memories that
will remain. We are certain
your memories will always
be with you.
Our sincere condolences,
Nela, Octavio and I should also include daughter Ana
who went to school with you.
