Edmund Richter Obituary

RICHTER Edmund J Richter, formerly of Trumbull passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Birmingham Health Care in Derby. Mr. Richter was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime Trumbull resident. A Tool and Die Designer, he worked for many companies including General Electric in Bridgeport. He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the Radio Control Model Airplane Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Monahan Richter, and his brother, Konrad Richter. Survivors include five children, Arlene Ross and her husband, Donald of Fairfield, James Richter of Las Vegas, Nev., Lawrence Richter of Trumbull, Judith Schmidt and her husband, Donald of Trumbull and John Richter of Trumbull; one brother, Eugene Richter and his wife, Ann (Nancy) Richter of Fairfield; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his loving dog, Mugsy. Friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Friday at 11 a.m. directly at St. Agnes Church 400 Merwin Ave. Milford. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 5 Brookside Drive Wallingford, CT 06492, the American Diabetes Assoc. 306 Industrial Park Rd.
