Edmund Swort Obituary
Edmund Bruno Swort, age 93, of Trumbull, passed away January 14, 2013 with his family holding his hands at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mr. Swort was born in Chicago, Illinois, and lived in Larchmont, New York before moving to Trumbull, CT. He graduated from Yale University and received his MBA from Harvard University. He was a security analyst for Value Line in New York City. Mr. Swort was an Air Force veteran of WWII. He is survived by his beloved wife Lorena Knox Swort of Trumbull ; his son Ed Swort and his wife Janet of Trumbull; his daughter Holly Kay of Palm Harbor, FL; his sister Virginia Winter of Casper, WY; four grandchildren Britni Weisel, Kendall Weisel, Matthew Swort and Jenna Swort; and several nieces and nephews. I knew Ed in schenectady n.y. when We shared an office with Dick Gralton and Dick Young. I was the only one that had been to Harvard B. school. He was a smart guy and left to join Value line. He got me to put a few $ into a little Co. texas Inst. Best investment I ever made
