Dad, Almost a month now since you have been gone---leave it to me to wait until the last moment to write--a month ago today I spent the day at your house--hoping we could get you to the doctor on Monday--but you left us the very next day-at first I thought maybe I had not made the right decision to keep you home but later I realized you had decided long before us not to live that way--it was time to move on--I don't blame you--but I do miss you--I went by your store the other day thinking I could stop and say hello--and then realized you weren't there--but then again maybe you were-I would not put that past you! I know you were there when the American league won the World Series-when I flew down to Florida only to be stuck in a hurricane--I know you were saying what the heck is wrong with you! I am just grateful I had you in my life for 50 years--being there for me everyday of kindergarden and upon the birth of "JR" and even when my marriage fell apart---and I know you were happy when I found a new love---I am happy that you could enjoy being Pops to my children and see them grow up--that you were there to share in my 50th birthday this past June--your memory will be forever in my heart--I Love you! From your little Milky White---Robin

Hi Dad,
Today is Dan's 21st Birthday and the first family gathering that you won't attend. I know you will be with us in spirit.
We all miss you...Went to Porricelli's and Ed the manager & the cashier who used to call you Louise couldn't say enough praises of you.
So many people loved you.
Hey if you have any influence up there help out with this crazy weather...talk to the big guy.
I'm doing fine as you can see.
Love you dad,
Juju

pops,
i really don't know where to start off. you are the best grandpa anyone could have, most kids have 2 grandpas but i only had you, and now that you are gone i don't know who will fill that gap.I do know that no one can be as AWESOME as you. you always brightend my day with your jokes, or tag sale stories. you had so many you could have written a book.
~Love always,~

Dear Ed,
I'm sure you're up in heaven telling jokes and filling Dorothy in on everything that has changed. I missed you when I switched jobs and didn't get to hear your daily joke or just talking to you about family. I will always cherish those jokes and helping you with the orders (even though you said you didn't want my help). I truly appreciated all that you did at work and all that you taught me. I'm glad that I got to see you one last time in the hospital and that you really liked the flowers in the truck. "Eduardo", I will love you and miss you! God Bless You!
Love, Therese

I will miss you greatly, Pops. I will always remember the all the things you did for me and the rest of the family to make us happy.
I will never forget you being there for my brother and I during our little league baseball games and how you would always bring us candy and baseball cards.
I will always remember how you always called me "Scooter" even at 28yrs old.
Although I'm not great at showing love, I do love you and will miss you, especially on the holidays. Your love and sense of humor will live on with me always. Thanks Pops
love,
-Ryan "Scooter"

Dad,
I feel that God knew exactly what he was doing when he paired you and me up. we're like two peas in a pod. I spent my whole life listening and learning from you. I was your right hand man, building rabbit cages with you, moweing the lawn with you. I even learned how to drive with you. My memories will last me forever. There are so many that if I ever forget one i will have plenty of back ups. like every summer at beaches pool, basketball in the driveway. you were my biggest fan at ALL my sports events. But now your gone, the only dad I ever had. I feel broken and lost with out you but i know one day the pain wont be so bad. it will be my personal duity to share all of my wonderful memories and stories with my sister and xavier so they will grow up knowing their grandfather was the best man who ever lived. before i end i want to make you a promise. i will finish shcool, i will graduate, i will make you proud. you are the reason i am who i am, and i am destoned to be great. I miss you, and I'll love you forever. Rest in peace dad.
Love always,
your little monkey

Dear Eddie,
You are such a nice man. I will miss you and never forget you. Although we didn't see one another that often when I did see you it felt like there was never a time lapse and our conversations would pick up right where that left off.
It was so evident what a great father and grandfather you were. You really valued family. I am so glad we got to have our family reunion last year and you got to take a picture on the carousel with you grandkids. I will miss you but know you are in a safe place. I know one day I will see you again.
God Bless.
Love,
Shelly

Dear Mr. K:
I just wanted to let you know that you had a big influence on my life. You may not remember but when I was 18 (well past my crush on Judy), I told you that I was going to join the marines. You talked me out of it for fear I would be sent to Viet Nam. It wasn't Nam that scared me but you description of basic traing! I took your advice and joined the Air Force. Thanks for the tip. You were always nice to me and your wife gave me lots of 'girl' advice. Each time I visit CT I always drive by the old neighborhood and describe to my wife who lived there when I was growing up.
May God Bless You Sir.
Love Roger

Pops I am so blessed to have had you as my grandfather. Some people have 2 grandfathers, but I didn't need 2 because I had 1 Pops. I always knew I was loved whenever I was with you. I will always be your best audience and you will always be my favorite comedian. You are the ultimate grandfather! I remember this quote I read once "just when the caterpillar thought the world was over it became a butterfly." It reminds me that you're not completly gone from us because you're always with us just in a different way and you won't miss a moment in the story of our family. I'll miss you! See you later. Go Yankees! I hope you're not up there doing nothing cause then you won't know when you're finished.
Love

I really wanted to take this time to thank some people. First I want to thank my mom and aunt judy for being so involved in Pops' medical care. You took such good care of him. I also wanted to thank my aunt sheryl for being able to make the necessary arrangements so things could run as smoothly as possible and also helping Nonie do many of the things that needed to be done this past week. Many thanks to Mackenzie's. I see why he loved that store so much. Of course thanks to my whole family. I will always carry our strength with me.

Dear Pops,
This feels so strange. That is, that you're no longer here. I feel like it all didn't happen and that tomorrow you're going to drive down our hill, park your truck in the front of our house, walk across the yard and come in. You'll ask me why I'm never home anymore because most likely I'll be on my way out to a church meeting or something along those lines. I'm sorry about that, that I wasn't really around recently. But I did really appreciate all the crazy things you did, like bring to us your tag sale items that you were so proud of. And how, every Easter you brought all of us chocolate bunnies. That was great. All the little things Pops, they were so great. I'll always remember them. Really. I love you and miss you.
Love always,
Lala

Dad, I will miss you in so many ways: your quick stops to say hello and a small glass of soda(no ice),your corny jokes, your tag sale finds, your laughter, your friendship and love, but most of all your special bond with each of my children. I thank God that we had the time to share such wonderful experiences. We all will miss you dearly. I love you. Sheryl

Pops, oh how much we will miss you, especially Gregory. But we were so fortunate to have had you in our lives and to have been such a big part of them. You brought us such happiness whenever you came to visit. I am so glad we were able to move back to town to be close to Nannie and you over the past 10 years. We'll take good care of Nannie. We knew each other for 27 years. I'm certainly going to miss you. I hope you figure out what to say to God when he sneezes.
Love Jeff

Ed, although our lives went in different directions over the last 15 years, you were always a good brother-in-law to me and I do appreciate that. I am sure that you have joined back up with your Mom & Dad up there, so enjoy your peace from above. Let us know if your Dad is finally driving his car or just keeping it in the gargage up there !

Dear Dad,
You were the sunshine in all of your children's and grandchildren's lives. We are so fortunate to have had you.
I feel so honored to have been so involved with your medical care and I thank you for trusting me and allowing me to care for you. You were a great role model as you lovingly cared for your ill parents, so generous and kind.
We will miss you dearly, but the memories of you will never fade and will forever be a comfort to us all.
I love you dad.
