Eileen Helisch Obituary
Eileen Kosan Helisch, age 58, of Bridgeport died suddenly on June 21, 2017 into the loving arms of her Lord and Blessed Mother. She was the beloved daughter of Shirley Kosan and her late father George Kosan. Born in Oak Park, IL; from the age of 3 to 7 she lived in Europe and then later resided in Garden City, NY and in Westport, CT where she was a graduate of Staples HS and finally many years in Bridgeport where she graduated from The University of Bridgeport with a BS degree. Eileen touched many lives with her unconditional love and kind nature. As a member of the Cathedral Parrish she served for several years as a Eucharistic Minister at St Augustine Church. She adored her sweet kitties Barney and Pebbles, she loved her mom very much and helped care for her for the past several years. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Mt. Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport on Friday June 30, 2017 at 2 p.m., enter main gate and follow Larson signs to the site. The LARSON FUNERAL HOME Bridgeport is in care of arrangements.

Eileen was a wonderful friend we shared our Catholic faith and she was truly faithful, loving and charitable. A humble soul whose life was cut short much too soon. We spend time together, laughing and enjoyed a wholesome friendship. Two people with a common interest in the love of Jesus and Our Lady Mary. May her soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed Rest In Peace and the perpetual light shine forever. Amen

I knew Eileen when we shared our faith at the Cathedral Parish.She was very kind and lively.We became friends and even my family loved her. We
lost touch for awhile, but I always cherished our friendship. God has a special champion in his corner. May her soul rest in peace and the perpetual light shine on forever. Maria Sanchez
