Elaine was the father of my son-in-law, Rob, which makes her family to me. I have lots of memories of Elaine, but my last memory of her was as she stood by the window of the car as we were leaving her driveway on our way to Ireland by ship, and when I asked her what she wanted me to bring back to her from Ireland, she said, "You know what. Don't bring us anything. We don't need anything. What matters is your friendship." That tells you a lot about Elaine.

Elaine was one of the most memorable people I met at TCT. She loved sharing her opinion of best places to go or best new place to eat. One day she showed up at a card game with a bunch of goodies. She was told she didn't have to bring anything. She explained, "I know, I'm Italian, that's what we do". I never forgot that, being Italian too :) !! She definitely had a love of life, and I hope she has the time of her life enjoying life everlasting. My sincere condolences to her husband and children. It seems too soon to have lost Elaine here on Earth.

I was very fortunate to get to know Elaine, albeit for a short time. She was a wonderful human being, kind, generous to a fault, always taking care of others, which was a gift since she used to be a nurse. She also had a wicked sense of humor. I will miss her very much and forever will hold a special place in my heart. My deepest condolences to Bob and her family.
