Elizabeth Florczak Obituary
Elizabeth (Elzbieta) Skoczolek Florczak age 85 of Stratford, loving wife of the late Marian Florczak, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Affectionately known as Babcia, she was born November 19, 1939, in Niebieszczany, Poland to the late Andrzej and Aniela Skoczolek. Elizabeth grew up in Sanok, Poland, she came to the United States and became a longtime resident of Stratford. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Bridgeport. You could often find her in her garden tending to her beautiful flowers and enjoying the outdoors, she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her five children, Andrew, Robert (Christine), Anna, Edward (Mary), Joanna (Dave), her grandchildren, DJ, Steven, Raymond, Adam, Victoria, David Jr., Jessica, Ava and Mary and two great-grandchildren Conor and Aubrey, a brother Alfred Skoczolek, sister Giga Noga, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Henry Skoczolek and her sister Kamila Mysliwiec.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday January 7, 2025, from 4-7 pm in the Commerce Hill Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10 am in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 310 Pulaski St., Bridgeport, followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
