Elizabeth Rogers Obituary

Elizabeth Jones Rogers
Elizabeth Warner Jones Rogers, 60, of Milford, beloved wife of Ernest Spencer Rogers, passed away on August 13, 2021. Elizabeth was born on March 1, 1961 in New Haven, CT to the late Lucien and Margaret Warner.
Elizabeth graduated from Bridgeport School of Nursing and most recently worked at Franklin Elementary School in Stratford. Children would constantly come up to her with hugs and greetings, so happy to see her outside of school. She was incredibly devoted to her family and was a wonderful wife, mom and nana. Elizabeth knew how to make a house a home, and found joy tending to and caring for her loved ones.
Elizabeth was the epitome of a woman who knew something about everything. She was an enthusiastic bee keeper who loved gardening, nature and her farm. Elizabeth sewed, played guitar, and enjoyed singing and making music. She was artistic, creative and had a knack for fixing broken items. She was treasured by everyone who knew her and her impact on her family, friends and even strangers was deeper than she was probably aware. Her presence will be missed in every aspect of our lives.
In addition to her husband, Elizabeth leaves behind her daughters, Elizabeth Mary Jones (Miranda Baldino) and Kaitlin Noel McDonough (John); grandchildren, Abigail Elizabeth and Charlotte Ann McDonough and Elijah Jayden Cosme; sisters, Mary W. Nardelli (Mike), Peggy W. Lennox and Nancy Lee Warner; stepchildren, Kelly Rogers Wolf and Avery Dior Rogers (Greg Goalwin); numerous nieces and nephews; and her former husband, John Jones. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Bruce Lennox.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Funeral Service will commence at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
