Elizabeth Tzimopoulos Obituary
Mrs. Tzimopoulos was born Aug. 30, 1931, in Eptahorion, Greece, a daughter of Constantinos and Theodora Serdenis and had been a Manchester resident since 1956.
She was predeceased by her husband, Evangelos Tzimopoulos.
Family includes three children, Ted Tzimopoulos and his late wife, Jody, Dina Conway and her husband, Michael, and George E. Tzimopoulos; six grandchildren, Tara Tzimopoulos, Evan Tzimopoulos, William Tzimopoulos, Alexandra Conway, Elizabeth Conway and Chloe Conway; two brothers, Lambros Serdenis and the late George Serdenis; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

services: Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover St. in Manchester. Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Easter Seals of New Hampshire, 555 Auburn St., Manchester, 03103. Cate & Johnson Funeral Service of Manchester is directing arrangements.

My condolences to your family. I can't remember a single time that your mother wasn't smiling and welcoming when we stopped to pick up Dina on the way to school. And she always had food for us-always delicious! My thoughts are with you all at this time.

Dear Ted, Dina and George,
I was shocked and saddened when you sent me the news about your mother Ted. I will forever cherish her baklava that she sent me. I know all of you will speak of her often, as I do about my late mother . That's how we keep them alive in spirit. Our beloved parents really never " leave" us as they are a part of us, and we, a part of them. We are bonded for eternity with our moms and dads. Although I never had the honor of meeting your father Ted, I am sure so many people in heaven are celebrating the arrival of your mother and that she is re- united with her soulmate.
Your parents were true pioneers coming to this country for a better life, wanting only the best for their children. A work ethic that is rarely seen in this country nowadays, that's the legacy they leave and one all of you can be proud of.
May your mothers memory be a blessing!

I remember Mrs. Tzimopoulos as always having a warm smile on her face as she gardened in her beautiful flower border. She was always welcoming to any and all of her children's friends. My sincere condolences to the extended Tzimopoulos family. Mrs. Tzimopoulos was a lovely lady.
