Eve A. (Vorrase) Dorsio, age 94, of Heritage Village, Southbury, entered into rest peacefully on May 1, 2014. Eve was the wife of the late Joseph F. Dorsio of Derby. beloved mother of Frank Dorsio and his wife Shelley of Derby, Denise Donofrio and her husband Philip of Oxford, Rosemary Dorsio of Durham and Donna Dorsio of New Haven County. She is the loving grandmother of Joseph Dorsio and his wife Lisa of Bristol, Melanie Anderson and her husband Eric of Derby, Robin Cusano and her husband Brian of Seymour, Dean Dorsio and his wife Susan of Derby, Michelle Allen and her husband Howard of Southbury, Hope Capaso and her husband Ralph of Shelton, Danielle Mazzola and her husband Chris of Tolland and Deanna Scozzari and her fiance' Sam Kilbourn of Durham. She is the great grandmother of 17. She was predeceased by two brothers and six sisters. Eve devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and volunteered for 20 years at Griffin Hospital Gift Shop. A private ceremony was held by her family. The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth St. Derby are entrusted with the arrangements.
