Evelyn Edroso Obituary

EDROSO Evelyn L. Edroso, age 84, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 4, 2006. She was born in Hartford and moved to Bridgeport and was a lifelong resident. She retired from 3030 Park in Bridgeport where she worked as a waitress. She was the daughter of the late Emiline Dunlop and was predeceased by two sisters, Kay Foster and Addie Manlow. She was also predeceased by her husband, Roy B. Edroso Sr. She leaves behind a brother, Bill Dunlop of Canada; and her two loving children, Roy B. Edroso Jr. of New York and Debra A. Bonaventura and her husband, Mark, of Bridgeport. She also leaves behind her two cherished grandchildren, Mark Bonaventura Jr. and Anthony Bonaventura; and a very dear and close friend, Jackie Dunn of Pennsylvania. Friends are invited to meet DIRECTLY in St. Andrew-s Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 10 a.m. for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael-s Cemetery, Stratford. At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice at Home, 40 Lindeman Drive, Trumbull, CT 06611. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. To light a virtual candle, visit us at www.abriola.com.

Roy, Debbie, Mark, Mark Jr. & Anthony

We are all saddened by the loss of your mother and grandmother. Please accept our deep condolences and know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We will always hold the fond memories of such a wonderful, loving and caring woman in our hearts forever. We were all truly blessed to have had her in our lives and will always be grateful for all the times she opened up her door and her heart to us. Take care of each other, God Bless you all.
