Florence Leary Obituary

LEARY Florence A. (Adamski) Leary, age 86, of Asbury Ridge Road, Shelton, widow of Edward J. Leary, died on Friday, September September 15, 2006 at Bishop Wicke Health Center. Mrs. Leary was born in Naugatuck, on July 16, 1920, daughter of the late Bronislaw and Anna (Lewonski) Adamski. She lived most of her life in Naugatuck and Shelton since 1998. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church. She leaves a son, Edward Leary of Annandale, Va.; three daughters, Marie Bedell of Shelton, Beth Susan Markow of Brunswick, Maine, and Sharon Baridon of Tuscon, Ariz; a brother, Edward Adamski of New York; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews; and a loving caregiver, Yolanda Colon. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, to St. Francis Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck, for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude1s Children1s Research Hospital, St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to St. Francis Church Renovation Fund, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
