Frances Palumbo Obituary

PALUMBO Frances Palumbo, age 83 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport, August 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elvira (Monda) Palumbo and was a lifelong city resident. Survivors include her beloved family, one sister, Mary Chalker of Milford; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews; and several cousins from Connecticut and Massachusetts. Friends are invited to attend the funeral Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 9 a.m. in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport and at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret's Shrine, 2539 Park Avenue, Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until services. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donation may be made to Swim Across the Sound, 2800 Main St., Bridgeport, CT 06606 in memory of Frances.

Auntie Fran,

I will miss you so much. Thank you for all the smiles you had for me all the time and the never ending unconditional love. You were there for everyone. I hope I gave you at least a little bit of what you gave me.
