Henry Olenski Obituary
Henry M. Olenski, 95, formerly of Milford, beloved husband of the late Patricia Olenski for 61 years, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022. Henry was born in Milford, on December 19, 1926, to the late Chester and Anna Olenski. Henry grew up in the Wheelers Farms area of Milford with 8 siblings. He lived his entire life in Milford before moving in 2019 to be near his sons living in Mesa, AZ. He was a loyal employee of AirLock, Inc. for over 30 years as a Tool and Die Maker. He created many of the products used by NASA during that time. His passion was sports, which he supported for his sons. A lifelong Red Sox fan, he also enjoyed watching the Milford A's. He is survived by his children, Edward (Joni) Henning, James (Melody) Olenski, Thomas (Wendy) Olenski, and Timothy (Karen) Olenski; brothers, Anthony and Chet Olenski; sister,s Helen Rice and Irene Eagles. Henry is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (Meet Directly At Church). Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Henry's name may be made to a charity of choice. A Livestream of the services will be available, and online condolences may be made on Henry's webpage at www.codywhitefuneralservice.com
