James Michael DeStefano, 75, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, in Manhattan, surrounded by family.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate James' life on Friday, December 12, 2025. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Lesko Funeral Home (1209 Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church (1719 Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06825). Entombment will take place immediately afterward at Mountain Grove Cemetery (2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604).

David, Matt and Peter, I´m so sorry that your dad passed away.
I just found out today. I was going to call your dad when Iwas going to New York to see my doctor. I will miss him very much. I will always remember all the great times we had together. Last time I talked to your dad I asked him how all you boys are doing.. It was good to hear everything was fine. Jim was like a brother to me.
