James Dimon Obituary

DIMON James "Peter" B. Dimon, age 79, of Shelton, entered into rest in his home on July 14, 2003, with his family by his side. Mr. Dimon was born on September 8, 1923, son of the late Frederick Bernard and Leah Estella Beckwith Dimon, and was a lifelong resident of Shelton. He worked as a butcher for the Burton Block Meat Company. Mr. Dimon is survived by his longtime companion, Rosemary Martonak Piccolo; three brothers, Wiley Dimon of Shelton, Kenneth Dimon of Huntington, and Alfred Dimon of Florida; two sisters, Shirley Cornut of Monroe and Hazel Curtis of Derby. He was predeceased by a brother, Earl Dimon; and a sister, Doris Blakeman. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. His funeral service will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. At the request of the family, memorial contributions can be made in Mr. Dimon3s memory to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
