James William Galanek, age 74, of Shelton, beloved father of Michele Galanek and grandfather of Noah. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St., Stratford. Jim was a neighbor and friend to our family, especially to my older brother. Growing up I remember him having a kind and calm way about him.
