Janet was such fun to be with, laughing and enjoying whatever we were doing whether just 'catching up' on the telephone, playing golf or making tuna sandwiches for the beach. She was a great cook who introduced me to her family's delicious recipes. I will remember her as joyful, kind and caring but most of all, fun-loving. My sincere sympathies to Sam and Kendra and to all her family supporting her so lovingly to the end. Janet will truly be missed by all who knew her. Love and prayers

Jan and I were friends mostly in Jr High and then throughout high school we met at a girls get together before our 25th class reunion. I found out she lived so close and we just never connected again What a waste I'm so sorry that I didn't make the move.. My prayers are for you and your family. Andie

Janet and Jean, shopping buddy, were part of the Nordstrom family. It was my pleasure to accessorize them with David Yurman jewelry. I loved Janet´s reaction when I draped a nice necklace on her. I will always remember her grace and appreciation whenever shopping. Once I learned her birthday, I tried to remember sending a greeting. Rest in peace, my friend.

I worked with Janet for a few years back when she worked to organize a golf outing raising money for kids with Muscular Dystrophy. She normally had us in stitches with her antics and we gave as good as we got, discovering that was an excellent sport in the arena of practical jokes played on her. One time, I told her an important client was on the phone, having secretly velcroed the phone to the cradle. Listening to her curse like a sailor trying to release the phone and then realizing she was being pranked and then cursing up a storm is a treasured memory, which we shared back and forth often over the years. Including her sass, she was an incredibly supportive friend and I will miss her presence in the world. Sam and Kendra, even if I didn´t spend a lot of time with you, Janet´s stories made you feel like you were right there at work with us and I´m sorry she left you this soon. My wishes for fond memories replacing the grief happening sooner rather than later are for you.
