Joan Musfeldt Obituary
Joan Sawicki Musfeldt, age 76, of Bridgeport, a homemaker, died on Friday, October 4, 2013. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Sawicki. Joan was a former Shelton resident for many years. She is survived by her two sons, Kevin Musfeldt of Nashville, TN and Michael Musfeldt of West Haven, her granddaughter, Stephanie, and a brother, Donald Sawicki of Arizona. Friends can greet the family at a memorial gathering celebrating her life on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. To light a virtual candle visit at www.abriola.com.

Kevin & Michael, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. She & I worked with each other way back at Sikorsky. She was always such a sweet person. Terry Lockavitch was my husband and I remember him going to visit your Mom & Dad and seeing you all the time Kevin. My sympathy to you all. Joyce Lockavitch
