My condolences to the Dobos family. As anyone who knew John is aware, he was (among other good things) a warm, courteous, and decent person. A "true" gentleman. In the shop were we worked, performing a noble or gentlemanly act was affectionately referred to as "pulling a Dobos". John, may you rest in peace my friend.

Mr. Dobos brings so many fond memories to mind for me as a child growing up in Lordship. Whether it was taking us to a Raybestos game, the beach or an amusement park, he always went the extra mile to make sure we were always having fun as kids. Rest in Peace Mr D.

A friend for more than 60 years...He was the man who drove me to the church 'on time' on my wedding day.

There are so many words that don´t fully describe Mr. Dobos: loving, kind, humorous, generous, supportive, etc. My family was privileged and grateful to have the Dobos family as our neighbors for close to 60 years in Lordship, and there isn´t enough room to list all of Mr Dobos´ acts of kindness to my mother. Heaven will finally reunite him with Mrs Dobos, and they will once again be laughing and loving each other. Our deepest condolences to John, Jane and Polly and all the grandchildren. He was special and set an example of how to live life.
