To the Sutay family - I am truly saddened by the loss of "Mr. Sutay." Growing up with you all in the "Treeland area" he always treated me as one of his own children and I have fond memories spent at your house.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of my mother's cousin- John Sutay. I always loved my conversations with him and his lovely wife Pat. One of my favorite stories of John is the following: It was at my sister Leslie's wedding when I asked the band if they knew, and would play, the 'Tonight Show' theme. They said they could, but would not because it was not appropriate. When I pointed out to them that Johnny Carson was present ( I pointed out John Sutay sitting at a nearby table), they were astonished and belted out the tune...... at which time, I played the part of Ed McMahon and said, "here'sssssssssssss Johnny!" He was always a great sport about resembling Carson. I also enjoyed calling his wife, Pat- Elizabeth Taylor. God bless all the Sutay's.... a fun-loving, wonderful family. Fondly, Kevin & Beth Boyd

Dear Pat and Family,

Johnny introduced me to an onion sandwich when I was a teenager and it was delicious.

Johnny was a very interesting fellow and just an all around nice guy.

May God bless you during this most difficult time.

May he rest in peace.
