John Ulatowski Obituary

John Jack Ulatowski Jr.
John (Jack) Ulatowski Jr. age 76 of Bridgeport beloved brother of Sister Maureen A. Ulatowski S.S.N.D. [School Sisters of Notre Dame] passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2017. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late John J. and Ann M. Burns Ulatowski. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, he was a retired programmer for CT Distributers where he worked for over 40 years. An avid traveler, he had visited over a 26 year span most of the European Countries. He was a member of the Gaelic American Club and had assisted in Our Lady of Assumption Church activities and daily chores. Special note of thanks to the staff at St. Vincent's Intensive Care Unit and their assistants. Survivors in addition to his devoted sister Maureen Ulatowski are several cousins.
Calling hours will take place on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield, followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to School Sisters of Notre Dame, 345 Belden Hill Rd., Wilton, CT. 06897, in memory of Jack. A faithful parishioner of our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Fairfield. Jack enjoyed the trusted responsibility of assisting in the counting of the Sunday offertory collections.
