Joseph Trzcinski Obituary

TRZCINSKI Joseph C. Trzcinski, age 92, of Fairfield, beloved husband of 58 years to the late Mary Sobolewski Trzcinski, died peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2006. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late John and Antoinette Trzcinski. A lifelong area resident, he was a retired machine operator for Singer Co., where he worked for more than 30 years. Survivors include his devoted children, Daniel Trzcinski Sr. and his wife, Lucille of Wallingford, Gloria Jacques and her husband, Philip, of Fairfield; seven grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Allison, Jeffrey, David, Philip, Jennifer and Nicole; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Sophie Szost and her husband, John, of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Mary Tropsa of Fairfield. He was predeceased by a brother, Stephen and a sister, Tessie Franko. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Lawncroft Burial Park, Fairfield. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Commerce Hill-Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull Line).
