Jozef Jankowski Obituary
Jozef Jankowski age 84 of Shelton, CT, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Jozef was born on March 28, 1939 in Radzie, Poland to the late Stanislawa and Waclaw Jankowski. From a young age, he was a passionate blacksmith alongside his father. He moved to the US in 1994 to Stratford, CT, and continued being a skilled handyman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Regina Waluszko Jankowski, two sons Mirek Jankowski and wife Katarzyna of Radzie, Poland, Slawek Jankowski and wife Renata of Monroe, CT, grandchildren Karolina, Eryk, Olivia, Konrad, Julia and great-grandson Kacper Jankowski. He leaves behind his siblings Danuta and Tadeusz Jankowski of Poland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 10am in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport followed by interment in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 26th from 4 to 7p.m. in the Commerce Hill Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport.
