Julia Dorso

DORSO Julia Dorso, age 77, of Shelton, entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport. She was the devoted wife for 59 years of Edward N. Dorso Sr. She was born in Shelton on July 6, 1929, daughter of the late Michael and Eva Skurat Behuniak. She worked for more than 20 years as a dietary supervisor at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Center in Stratford before retiring in 1991. She was an excellent cook , and cherished time with her loving family. She was the beloved mother of two sons, Edward N. Dorso Jr. and David A. Dorso. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Read and Anna Kingersky; a daughter-in-law, Dolores Dorso; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Behuniak. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, and will be private for the immediate family.
