Kenneth E. Cerritelli, age 73, of Shelton entered into rest on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Bridgeport Hospital. He is the beloved husband of Diane (Torlish) Cerritelli, married 51 years. Ken was born in Bridgeport on June 17, 1948, son of the late Anthony and Emma (Marsillio) Cerritelli, and was a Shelton resident for 45 years. A mechanic by trade, Ken owned and operated Cerritelli Chevron for decades. He was an avid Yankees fan, a skilled woodworker, and he enjoyed playing cards. He is the beloved father of Alicia McTigue, Kimberly Spano and her husband Robert, and the late Michelle Lynn Cerritelli, and proud grandfather of Megan, Katherine, and Tyler McTigue, Ryan and Eryn Elinson, and Joseph Boanno. He also leaves his brother, Anthony Cerritelli and his wife Mary Ann, and two nieces, Jennifer Bshara and Katharine Middlebrook. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton on Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lawn Cemetery East.
