Kenneth Edwards Obituary
Kenneth R. Edwards, 73, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was born in the city on May 31, 1939 to Walter Edwards, Sr. and the late Vivian (Davis) Edwards. In 1969, Kenneth had graduated from Bassick High School.
In addition to his father, left to cherish his memory are: sons, Kevin, Michael, Daryl, Kai and Terrell; daughters, Desiree (Greg), Bianca, Nicole and Brittany; 17 grandchildren; brothers, Walter, Jr., Brian, Gary and Mark Edwards; sisters, Patricia Edwards, Jen Boyd, Michelle Jones, Cheryl Woody, Valerie Newby and Victoria Acosta; as well as a host of other family and friends.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Messiah Baptist Church, 210 Congress St., Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 11:00 am until time of service at the church. Interment at the convenience of the famiy. Arrangements entrusted to Geo. J. Peterson FH., 1041 Noble Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.
