LERNER, Kenneth Arnold
July 26, 1940 - December 16, 2014
The family of Ken Lerner are sad to announce his passing on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Ken was predeceased by his parents Mary and Mo. He is survived by his loving children, Marshall Lerner (Jolene Lipp), of Regina; Brenlee Stafford (Denis Corbeil) of Saskatoon; and Michael Lerner of Burlington Ontario. Also mourning his loss are his precious grandchildren Syrai, Mahala, and Maquire Stafford; and Emily and Jacob Lerner, along with cousins and numerous friends. Ken was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he attended the University of Manitoba School of Law. He moved to Regina in 1966 and started working at SGI's legal department, serving as the senior legal counsel for many years until his retirement in 2003. Numerous friends and colleagues will remember him for his dry sense of humour and quick wit. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Beth Jacob Cemetery - located at 810 Broad Street. (Broad and 4th) with Rabbi Jeremy Parnes officiating. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers those so wishing may make donations in Ken's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St. Regina. S4P 2R3.

I worked with Ken for more than 20 years. He had not only an astute lawyer, a real gentleman but had an extraordinary sense of humour. I was proud to call him my friend. He will be missed.
