Kris Michael Mathews

MATHEWS Kris Michael Mathews, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 54 in Everett, Wash. with his loving wife and stepson, Aaron by his side on Wednesday, April 27th. Kris was predeceased by his parents, Rosanne and Michael Mathews of Monroe. He leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara J. Mathews; sons, Michael Mathews of Lawrence, Ks, Nicholas and Crista Mathews and their children, Ethan and Ellieanna of Dallas, Texas; siblings, Debbie Toth of Shelton, Jeff and Sue Mathews, Gregg and Betsy Mathews and Shawn Mathews, all of Newtown; his stepsons, Aaron Bishop of Seattle, Wash. and Marc Iorio of Ft Walton Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Kris graduated from Central High School in 1974 and joined the Air Force where he served his country guarding the missiles silos in Wichita, Ks. After his service, he was hired by the Boeing Company in Wichita, Ks and later promoted and relocated to Everett, Wash. where he was a supply manager working on the new Boeing Dreamliner Aircraft. At the time of his death, he had over 35 years of service with the Boeing Company. The world lost a great and loving man. Our hearts go out to all of you that were honored to have him be part of your life, and to those not so privileged, because you really missed out. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 11 am to 1pm in the Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.
