Leanne Faris Obituary

Leanne Mary Faris, age 50, devoted wife of Robert Faris and loving mother to Camryn and Ryan Faris, of Fairfield, passed away on May 25, 2022.
In addition to her beloved husband and children, Leanne's memory will be cherished by her parents, Danny Whiteside and Charlotte Stanzione Whiteside; Rob's parents, Robert and Donna Faris; two uncles, Timothy Stanzione and his wife Lisa, Ralph Stanzione and his wife Dianna; her brother-in-law, Christopher Faris and his wife Melissa, and sister-in-law, Kimberly Lewandowski and her husband Todd; one niece and three nephews; as well as extended members of the Faris family, and many dear friends.
Leanne grew up in Bristol, Rhode Island, and was a graduate of Rhode Island College. She moved to Connecticut and was employed as a social worker for the State of Connecticut before becoming a paraprofessional for the Fairfield Board of Education. She embraced a true passion for working with children and helping those in need.
Leanne deeply loved her family and cherished the time she spent with Rob, Camryn, and Ryan. Participating in her children's school activities, watching their sporting events, trips with them back to the beautiful beaches of Rhode Island, vacations on Block Island, and get togethers with her family and friends were all special memories for Leanne. Her radiant smile and kindness to others will be endeared by all who came to know her.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday (June 2nd) from 3 to 7 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. All other services will be private.

I just found out the tragic news. My sincere condolences to all your family. I regret never getting in touch with you again. No matter what, we will always have the summer of 1991. I am so deeply sorry for your loss of your beloved Lee Ann. Ryan , I first met your mom when you and James were in kindergarten together. Mom was funny, self deprecating, blunt. She was friendly and open and kind to me. Camryn, when you played soccer there was no one prouder than your mom and she loved to talk about you and all of your accomplishments. Lee Ann was a Devoted Mom and good fun. Rob , Michael and I are so very sorry for your loss. We wish you every comfort and peace. God bless you.

I´ll always remember those times I had with Leann. She lived next door to my Aunt and Uncle. She was very nice to me and such a kind woman. I´ll miss her dearly and I´ll never forget her.
