This is sad news, indeed. I knew Lois most of my life and one could say she was like a second Mom to me when I was little and lived right across the street from the Schines. I was pretty much in awe of her, especially after Leslie showed me her engineering tools when we were in junior high school! I had never known that a woman could even be an engineer. She had boundless energy and approached every day with gusto. My condolences- she will be missed!

I am saddened to learn of Lois' passing. It is impossible to capsule her immeasurable contributions to our regional community. I was always grateful for her support of my political endeavors. Lois was so talented, caring, thoughtful and optimistic about life and the future. My sympathies to her family. May she rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the Schine family. I have many fond memories and laughs together as she was a wonderful friend and shared love for the Chamber world. I had the honor of being a former Executive Director of the Westport-Weston Chamber. She made such a difference in so many people's lives as she cared for all.

My condolences to the Schine family. Lois and i have been friends for over 30 years. We went to the University of Delaware Institute for Organization management together. We have lost a wonderful, talented. Intelligent woman. She is finally with her Leonard.
