Luba Shumyhora Obituary
Luba (Datkun) Shumyhora died peacefully on Monday, September 22,2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Survived by two sons, Zenon and Raymond Shumyhora; four daughters, Irene Osadcia, Lydia Froilan, Olga Davila, Christina Froilan; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one nephew. Predeceased by her husband, Jaroslaw and granddaughter, Rachel.
Friends may call on Thursday 9/25, from 4 to 7 PM at Pistey Funeral Home, now located at 2611 Main St., Stratford with panikhyda at 6:00 P.M.. Funeral will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Holy Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 475 Noble Ave., Bridgeport. Burial to follow at St John Cemetery, Stratford. Heartfelt sympathy and prayers going out to you for the passing of your Mom . She was very much a part of my life since childhood. Very loving and understanding (even when I knocked over the Christmas tree) . She will be missed dearly .
