Luciano Catale Obituary
Luciano Nicola Catale, age 90, of Trumbull, formerly of Shelton, beloved husband of the late Maria Incoronata Catale, passed away on December 22, 2025. Nicola was born in Castelgrande, Italy on December 13, 1935, to the late Vito and Maria (Gerarda) Catale and immigrated to the US in 1962. He was a retired iron worker for Pequannock Iron Works. He loved to care for his vegetable garden, watch Italian soccer and spend time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his devoted children, Philomena (Lucy) House and her husband Joe and Joseph Catale and his wife Susan all of Ansonia, cherished grandchildren, Alex and Jordan House and Julia and Stefanie Catale, sister-in-law, Santa Catale, nieces and nephews, Tony Catale, Gerri Knapychenk, Maria Rodriguez, Vito Catale, Pasquale Catale, Felicia Catale, Anna Lostumbo, and Antonio Cerrato. In addition to his beloved wife and parents, Luciano was pre-deceased by his siblings, Giuseppe, Donato, Maria, Philomena, and Felice. Visitation on Friday January 2, 2026, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Lawrence Church, Huntington at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery, Derby.
