Luigi T. Manfredi

MANFREDI Luigi T. Manfredi, age 81, husband of the late, Maria Serventi Manfredi, passed away Friday March 11, 2005, at Griffin Hospital in Derby, following a long illness. Mr Manfredi was born in Bedonia, Parma, Italy on November 5, 1923. Son of the late Teofilo and Caterina Nadotti Manfredi. A resident of Seymour for thirty years, he had worked as a supervisor for Better Packages in Shelton until his retirement. He was a member of the sons of Italy Valley Lodge in Derby. He is survived by two sons; Teo Manfredi, and his wife, Rita of Shelton, and Bino Manfredi , and his wife Carla, of Fla; a daughter, Marisa Guerra, and her husband, Andrea of Derby, a sister, Theresa Botti, of Ansonia; grandchildren; Anthony Guerra, and his wife, Julie of Derby, Fabrizio Guerra and his wife, Antoinette of Oxford, Courtney Manfredi, of Shelton, Jeanette Manfredi of Fla; and Colin Manfredi of Norwich; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters; Angela Guliuzza, and Mary Federici. His funeral will be held on Monday March 14, 2005, at 8:15 a.m. from the Spinelli-Malerva-Ricciuti Funeral Home 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Entombment will follow in Mt. St. Peters Garden Mausoleum in Derby.
