Marc A. Carofano II, 42, of Henryville, died on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown. He was the loving husband of Kerry (Meyer) Carofano with whom he shared 19 years of marriage.
Born in Milford, CT. He was the son of Marc and Paulette (Kostenko) Lorrette.
Marc worked for Heller's Gas as a propane driver. He was a member of the Pocono Mountain Volunteer Fire Company. Marc was an assistant Boy Scout leader for troop 89 and a Cheer Dad for the YAPM cheerleaders. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at the Church of St. Bernadette.
In addition to his wife, Kerry and parents, he is survived by his son: Marc Carofano III of Henryville; two daughters: Megan and Marissa Carofano of Henryville; his brother: Jeff Carofano of Stratford, CT, mother-in-law: Ruth Meyer of Stratford CT.; father-in-law: Peter and his wife Donna Meyer of Arizona; his sister-in-law: Kim Meyer of Bethel CT.; two nieces: Raven and Tiffany and his nephew Dominick.
There will be a viewing from 4 to 7 on Tuesday, March 4 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 6 at the Church of St. Bernadette in Canadensis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to set up an educational fund for his children.
