My sympathy to Margie's family, husband, son, parents, sister and brother and everyone. I immediately remembered her and our times from Brownies in school at Orchard Hills, and again on track at Foran High. She was always a positive person, and so supportive of her teammates. Reading messages from her students and their families proves what a great teacher and friend she was to all. I am sure that her presence will be missed, but God must have needed her more than we all did. The comfort of memories will help you through the rough days you will encounter. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just started sixth grade and had her for only one class period. I remember it was period one. I walked into the classroom and saw Ms. Ruiz standing there. The first thing she told the class told me she was the nice and understanding type of teacher, not the strict and mean ones I had before. She told us not to mistaken her name and then she told us a story of a friend who called her Resses's when she was young. I had her for only one class period and i still say this out strongly: Ms. Ruiz WAS a GREAT teacher.
The next class period a sub, Ms. Suich told us Ms.Ruiz was sick. After a week or so, many of my friends heard rumors that Ms. Ruiz had cancer. Today, on October 19th i finally heard the true fact:Ms. Ruiz passed out on Friday.
I got a text message that alot of my friends also got: Wear pink today to mourn Ms. Ruiz's death or something like that. We will all miss her and that is what I have to say.

Mrs. Ruiz was an inspiration to us all. I remember having her as a health teacher in the 7th grade. She was always very friendly and approachable and she really cared for her students. Mrs. Ruiz always told jokes and always kept her classes fun, exciting and knowledgeable all at once. I never knew of anybody else who could do that. She always had a good sense of humor.

Mrs. Ruiz truly was a great teacher and a great person. She will be sorely missed by us all. May God forever bring her and everyone who cared for her the strength and courage that is needed during this time. May she R.I.P. always.

I was very saddened to hear of Marge's passing. Marge was in my fifth grade class at Orchard Hills School. She was a bright girl who always did her best in school. Aside from being an excellent student and athlete she was a very caring person who was always considerate of her classmates. I was very happy when Marge joined us as a teacher in the Milford Public School system and when she was named Milford's Teacher of the Year. Marge's passing is a loss for her family. It is a loss for the Milford Public School system and for the students whose lives she forever touched.

I am so sorry to hear this news today. Ms. Ruiz seemed like a really nice teacher. She was someone who stayed in your memory. Our deepest sympathies to her family. We know how much she truly will be missed. We were so saddened to read of her passing. Dear Rick, Matthew, Nancy, Ed and Family,

Words cannot express our sympathy for your loss of Marjorie. She was a friend to all and an inspiration to many. She could make any day seem brighter with her compassion and her smile. She was a teacher not just in school but in life. Marjorie was and always will be very important to our family. Her words of wisdom and gentle guidance have helped so many whether they were student or parent. She had a way of putting things that let the kids know that she would be a friend (even though she might not have been their teacher) would be there for them and would support them through good times and bad. No wonder she won Teacher of the Year.
Rick, you and Marjorie have been very good to our family especially Linny. She loved Marjorie like another Mom and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful woman. We have been truly Blessed to have had her in our lives. Every time we hear the expression "kiddo" we will think of her.
God Bless you all through such a difficult time. May your memories bring you comfort. We Love you all and if you need us please call.

Love,
Ann, Brendan, Billy, Danny and Linny
